These kits are meant to be used with your HIC compatible fork and oversized bars (slit is necessary). Apex V3 SCS Scooter Clamp Raw Standard Compression System Compression Systems are required if you are using forks & a headset. They replace the 2 lock nuts on standard threaded forks and let you compress and tune your headset. This clamp has more clamping power than some of the others on the market. Apex HIC Kit Raw The HIC Compression Kit is for use with oversized bars. It is the preferred compression system of the many pro riders. It is designed to work flawlessly with the Apex Pro HIC Bars. If you like the idea of HIC, but are running on standard size bars we would strongly suggest switching over to oversized bars it really is worth the changeover.
